Meister Motion is designed to benefit the horse every step of the day. The key feature is the bevelled toe on the ground surface, which allows the hoof to and limb to breakover with less stress and strain on the tendons, joints and ligaments, from the moment the horse is shod. The bevel continues around the branches of the shoe which helps the horse maintain its performance even on uneven ground. Kerckhaert’s design team has also introduced a small concave bevel around the ground surface of the shoe, to work in harmony with the sole to improve and maintain grip as the horse is in motion.

Meister Motion does not onlly benefit the horse but also the farrier. The great Kerckhaert shape means the shoes are quick and easy to fit. The quarter clips allow the farrier to position the shoe on the exact point on the hoof for the bevel to produce optimum performance. While the sole relief found in the shoes allows the hoof to function naturally, without causing any excess pressure against the shoe. The precise crease and nail hole placement allows the nails to be driven into the strongest part of the hoof reducing damage to the hoof wall.
