Description

Cavalor MudDoc is an 100% natural concentrated and effective mud fever ointment for horses.

What is mud fever?

Mud fever is, without doubt, one of the most recognizable skin problems in horses. It is a skin infection that often occurs in the pastern cavity of a horse. The most well-known symptoms are redness, scales, scabs and cracks in the pastern. Bacteria and fungi can grow very quickly in the pastern and thrive there because it is warm and damp most of the time. Dirt, mud, insects, sunburn or fungal infections can be various causes of mud fever. In addition to intense itching, mud fever can also cause leg inflammation and if left untreated can lead to lameness.

Cavalor MudDoc acts very fast thanks to the unique combination of numerous essential oils including aloe vera, lavender, eucalyptus and tea tree oils that work together to relieve pain, disinfect and heal the scrapes.

Cavalor MudDoc works on different levels to heal mud fever. The antiseptic properties make the pastern an unpleasant environment for the bacteria that cause mud fever, while wound healing and analgesic properties support the welfare of the horse. It also stimulates blood circulation for faster recovery. Cavalor MudDoc improves skin elasticity, minimises scar tissue formation and accelerates hair regrowth. Keeping skin elastic is important to prevent skin cracks, which appear frequently during intensive exercise such as show jumping.
